Air Mekong operates Vinh-Buon Me Thuot-Ho Chi Minh City route

Online Travel Vietnam: Air Mekong will operate the route of Vinh-Buon Me Thuot-Ho Chi Minh City as of October 1st, 2011, according to the airline’s announcement on September 26th in Vinh City, Nghe An Province.

Accordingly, there will be three flights per week (on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) for this route linking the northern central region with the Central Highlands and Ho Chi Minh City.

Some provincial leaders highly spoke of Air Mekong's contributions to socio-economic development of the Central Highlands thanks to its flights to the region.

With the opening of the new route, the Central Highlands' citizens and other tourists will find it easier and faster to travel to Nghe An Province and to visit several tourist destinations, such as Uncle Ho's home town, Cua Lo and Thien Cam beaches.

For one year now, Air Mekong has safely operated more than 10,000 flights.

The new route is the ninth destination that Air Mekong has operated. For this route, Air Mekong offers two kinds of tickets, Deluxe and Economic and uses Bombardier CRJ900, a twin-engined regional airliner produced by Canadian manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace.
