SAPA BUDGET TREKKING & HOMESTAY TOUR ( 3 Days / 4 Nights): Start your trip to Cat Cat village with Black Hmong ethnic group, and then move to Y Linh Ho and to Lao Chai – Ta Van with Day ethnic group with the villages located in the middle of Muong Hoa valley. The next day’s destination will be Ban Ho – Nam Toong – Su Pan where a few tourists come. THE DETAILED ITINERARY.
NIGHT 1: HANOI – LAO CAI
We start with an overnight train journey from Hanoi to the border town of Lao Cai. Our English assistance will pick up & bring you to the Tran Qui Cap Station for getting on the night train to Lao Cai.

DAY 1: LAO CAI – SAPA – LAO CHAI – TAVAN (B, L, D)
The train from Hanoi arrives Lao Cai Station approx. at 05:30 am. After having a breakfast, you will walk to Cat Cat village to visit Black Hmong ethnic group, the old Hydro Electric Power Station built by the French. Then you hike on a small path down to Muong Hoa Stream and to the village of Y linh Ho with Hmong villages and continue our trek to Lao Chai village, home to Black H’mong ethnic minority people. You will enjoy a pleasant walk from Lao Chai to Tavan village, home to Dzay hill tribe people, have a rest and enjoy Picnic lunch, prepared by your guide in a local house along the way. After that you continue discovering Muong Hoa valley with terrace field and daily activities of the local. In late afternoon, you approach Ta Van village and are welcomed by the host who will make your delicious dinner and arrange bed for you to sleep safely.

DAY 2: TA VAN – GIANG TA CHAI – SU PAN – BAN HO (B, L, D)
Sunrise breakfast is served at the Stilt House then you prepare the luggage to Giang Ta Chai Village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces, visit Silver waterfall and Suspension Ranttan Bridge. We have a chance to meet the locals and share cultural experience with their families. We keep going along small path in the rice paddy, cross Muong Hoa Stream and trek up to Su Pan Village. Picnic lunch is served on the way. You keep trekking to Ban Ho village of Tay ethnic group. You have dinner and overnight at Tay home stay on a stilt house.

DAY 3: BAN HO – NAM TOONG – SU PAN – SAPA – LAO CAI (B, L)
After breakfast, you start trekking through buffalo dirt path to Nam Toong Village of Red Dzao tribe. The trek reveals an panoramic view of Muong Bo valley with fantastic scenery of mountain. You return to Ban Ho for swimming at Lavie Fall (Only in summer). You have picnic lunch and trek up to Su Pan for Jeep to pick up to Sapa.
At 17h30, you will take the shuttle bus to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi. The trip ends at Hanoi station next morning.
