In the pouring rain Hue is heavenly

Online Travel Vietnam: Everyone knows that Hue is famous for its constant rain which brings out many different emotions in people, especially in tourists walking around the old city on the wet streets.

If you embrace the drizzling rain and admire the pleasant surroundings it can be a romantic experience. The thing about Hue, is that the rain symbolizes the city's soul and the former capital looks more historic when the heavens are pouring down as you gaze at the old citadels, empty street corners or poetic Huong River.

When the rain comes day after day, elderly people often sit silently at home and enjoy looking at their gardens, ladies stand at their windows enjoying the view and thinking of past times, while groups of young people or couples gather at coffee shops to chat, laugh and make the most of the rainy days.

Tourists should really come to Hue in the rainy season if they want to experience the city at its best. Vietnamese and some foreigners prefer to come to Hue during this time as the pouring rain brings back memories of childhood and it is good fun to tramp around the city as the skies unload on you.

If rain makes the weather colder, it brings people closer as they walk along the streets  and pop into shops, guests are not in a hurry at this time and relax more as they sit together and talk to strangers as there is no sun to miss out on.

Currently it is rainy season in Hue. Have you ever seen the ancient city which is both vaporous and fanciful in the rain? Be my guest, give it a try.
