Bun ca Ninh Hoa is a must in Phu Yen


Online Travel Vietnam: People often say when touring to the central province of Phu Yen if you don’t try the dish named Bun ca Ninh Hoa (Ninh Hoa fish noodle soup) your trip to the province doesn’t count.


But you needn't worry because the vast majority of visitors, if not all, love this province delight.

The dish is made from fish paste, which is mixed with salt, sugar and pepper and cut into slices and put into soup with fresh fish, tomato and some spices.

The white, rice noodles must be fresh and soft when they are dipped into the hot water. You then put the noodles into a bowl, pour on the fish soup and you have your beautiful dish. The offering is enjoyed with salad, aromatic vegetables, banana flowers and bean sprouts. A little lemon, chili and fish sauce will complete the dish, giving tourists a meal to remember.
